The company I work for has just enforced a drug-free policy to discourage its employees from getting involved in any kind of drug abuse or drug addiction problem. There has been some random drug testing done to check if there are employees who are guilty of substance abuse. A hotline has also been set up for anonymous reporting of those who are suspected of using illegal drugs. The hotline also has recommendations on a marijuana addiction treatment program for users to get help. Just last week, two employees have been terminated because an investigating team found out that they are marijuana users. Whats worse is that they were doing their marijuana abuse during work hours. Their termination served as proof for other employees that management is serious about enforcing its policy against illegal substance abuse and drug addiction. These individuals are now in a marijuana rehab program getting the help they need.
